The Rustic Quintet

A woodwind quintet from the RWCMD

Jemma Freestone – Flute

Greg Hearle – Clarinet

Gareth Humphries – Bassoon

Sam Baxter – Oboe

Tom Taffinder – Horn

This is a prize winning quintet who are coming to us highly recommended by the Head of Woodwind at the RWCMD, Meyrick Alexander.

Their programme is lively and varied, moving from Haydn to Mathias via Verdi and Poulenc.

Fflur Wyn – soprano with Michael Pollock – piano

This promises to be one of the highlights of the recital series so far this year. More details will follow.

Help 'Little Steps' take a big step

Rhiwbina Baptist Church's Toddler group, Little Steps, could be in the running for a cash award. 

The group could win £250 as 'best toddler group' in a competition on netmums.
